Skills (Armando) detailed treatment

I have chosen the track, "My red hot car". This is a dnb track with a fast tempo.
I have looked at other squarepusher videos to see what ideas they may give me.

From watching this video made by chris cunningham i have taken some key points to help me with making my video.
-Weird theme to compliment the track
-Track has been edited to fit the track really well
-effects have also been used

So far my idea for the video i am making is to gather footage of a weird character from a series or daytime program(thinking of Frank gallagher) and then to cut up the footage and snap to fit the track, also to glitch the footage up to get an effective effect on the audience.

I have also realized that Squarepusher (the producer of my red hot car) has alot of album art e.t.c of digital and geometric shapes with really luminous colours.

From the link below i have seen that he also loves l.e.d usage.

This has given me an idea to layer my footage with any digital pictures or footage i choose to use in the video, this will work well in relating to Squarepusher.

I have now started work on the video to my red hot car . I have ended up scrapping my ideas to use footage of a tv series and decided to work with the sea world footage armando supplied me with.

I didnt just use this because i couldnt be bothered to gather footage but because i really enjoyed working with the sea worlrd footage.

I have been slicing the footage up to fit the beat to get the right visual effect on the audience.

I am enjoying making this video so much more than i expected as it fits really well were i have use the splash of the water to represent the snare or hi end of the song.
I have then used the nodding of the whales head to fit the bassline riffs, also using other movements of the whale to fit other melodic parts of the track.
